Divination Policies

Rules of Conduct

Welcome to Divination RSPS! Our community is built on respect, fair play, and a positive gaming experience for all players. These Rules of Conduct outline the behaviors expected from all members of our community. Violations of these rules may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent account termination.

1. General Behavior

All players must adhere to the following general conduct guidelines:

  • Respect other players: Treat all members of our community with respect. Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • Appropriate language: Avoid excessive profanity, hate speech, or offensive language in all communications.
  • No impersonation: Do not impersonate staff members, other players, or any other individuals.
  • Listen to staff: Follow instructions from Divination staff members. They are here to help maintain a positive environment.

2. Chat and Communication

The following rules apply to all forms of communication within Divination RSPS (in-game chat, Discord, forums, etc.):

  • No spam: Avoid excessive repetition of messages, symbols, or emotes.
  • No advertising: Do not promote other servers, websites, or services unrelated to Divination.
  • No sensitive discussions: Avoid discussing politics, religion, or other potentially divisive topics.
  • No phishing/scamming: Do not attempt to obtain account information or personal details from other players.
  • Appropriate content: Do not share links to inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content.

3. Gameplay and Economy

To maintain fair gameplay and a balanced economy:

  • No cheating/exploiting: Do not use bugs, glitches, or exploits to gain unfair advantages. Report any bugs you find to staff.
  • No botting/automation: All accounts must be played manually. The use of scripts, macros, bots, or auto-clickers is strictly prohibited.
  • No real-world trading (RWT): Do not buy, sell, or trade in-game items or currency for real-world money or items.
  • No multi-clienting abuse: While multiple accounts are allowed, they cannot be used to exploit game mechanics or events.
  • No scamming: All trades should be honest. Do not mislead players about the value or effects of items.

4. Account Security

Players are responsible for their account security:

  • Account sharing: While not recommended, if you choose to share your account, you remain responsible for any rule violations committed on your account.
  • Password security: Use a strong, unique password and keep it secure. Staff will never ask for your password.
  • Phishing awareness: Be cautious of fraudulent sites or messages claiming to be Divination. Official communications will only come through our website, Discord, or in-game.

5. Community Events

During events and PvP activities:

  • Follow event rules: Specific events may have additional rules that must be followed.
  • No griefing: Do not deliberately disrupt events or activities for other players.

6. Penalties for Rule Violations

Violations of these rules will result in penalties based on the severity and frequency of the offense:

Note that staff have discretion to adjust penalties based on the specific circumstances of each case. Particularly severe or malicious violations may result in an immediate permanent ban.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We have a zero tolerance policy for the following violations, which will result in an immediate permanent ban:

  • Attempting to hack or compromise server security
  • DDoS attacks or threats
  • Sharing or distributing private information of other players (doxxing)
  • Serious real-world threats

7. Appeals Process

If you believe you've been unfairly penalized, you may appeal the decision through the following process:

  1. Join our Discord server
  2. Navigate to the #ban-appeals channel
  3. Follow the format provided to submit your appeal
  4. Wait for a staff member to review your case (typically within 48 hours)

Please note that appeals for extreme violations will not be considered. Be honest in your appeal as misrepresentation may result in denial.

8. Rule Changes

These rules may be updated or modified at any time. Significant changes will be announced on our Discord server and website. It is your responsibility to stay informed about the current rules.
